Corner Weighting

Postby pdsman53 » Sun Oct 06, 2024 3:21 pm

Hi guys,
Does anyone around Sydney, know or have a Corner Weighting Kit that they may possibly Hire out for a couple of days.

It seems to me that as a group we should invest in stuff that is needed, but too expensive for the individual to justify the outlay.
Obviously one person, would need to store the gear, take a deposit and check the condition on return.
The renters would need to take responsibility for any damage.

If not, does anyone have details on building a reliable DYI option?
Thanks in advance,
Jim

MX5 Club of NSW may have or try the MX5cartalk FB group, as there are more eye on there these days than here.

Not enough people here/demand/trust for this concept to work. I don't think this concept would ever work.
I'd find a workshop to do it for you.

I think Bruce is right. I can think of a couple of instances of 'racing mates' who might share the expense between them, otherwise I doubt that I would be party to a co-op buy with 'randoms' with whom I have little contact.

maybe Mania or someone would have a set for hire, or someone who wants to corner-weight could buy a set and then rent them out, otherwise I think it is a good idea, but not good enough to work.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)
