Just the opposite, think trackday friends.
PS> NO, Scarlett isn't going to become a trackday car, she's staying 'factory' for the moment... apart from an enormous knob... close to but not inside the driver's seat.... that's a loose nut... and it's behind the steering wheel...

Re: Scarlett - ND RF Ltd. Goodness
In actual update news I did something I've been meaning to do for ages.
Still keeping in OEM vein I've replaced one factory badge (that I'm unfond of) for another factory badge from not around here that I am fond of.
So out with the marketing Bumpfh 'Skyactiv' badge, and in with the proper Roadster badge, albeit on the wrong side because I want the keep the MX5 badge where it was.

Much betterer!

That's quite the diverse collection of cars you've got now, a tool for every job!
The Roadster badge is definitely an improvement

Looks good. I much prefer the Roadster badge. I’ve never liked the “this car has this particular tech” badge that most manufacturers do now.
Or just play with people and put a Skyactive-D badge on instead

Re: Scarlett - ND RF Ltd. Goodness
Sorry to be so late to this particular party but I’ve not been active on the forum for a couple of years, and sold my NA last year.
Really enjoyed taking this emotional, and actual, road trip with you Nevyn. It’s (kind of) the reverse of what I did back in 2013 when I flew down to Sydney to pick up the NA and drive it back to Toowoomba, with overnights at Tamworth and Lismore.
I hope to be back in a ‘5 sometime in the future, possibly an NC2 or an ND2 - although the gearbox in the latter does give me pause.
In any case, your RF is a peach!

Hey Nevyn ... I did a quick search and found out those badges are clipped on not taped, but I couldn't find anywhere that mentioned if the Roadster badge is a straight swap using the existing holes? I'm thinking of buying one for my son to change his - looks way better!

The 'Roadster' badge and the 'Skyactiv' badge are both positioned with pins but they are in different locations.
(The pins on the Roadster badge match locations with the pins on the MX5 badge)
You have to cut off the pins on the roadster badge and carefully position the letters so the body of the text covers the holes from the Skyactiv badge.
Also be wary as there are two different fonts for the Roadster badge, the more italicised one is for the ND1, you need to get the correct one to match the font of the 'MX5' badge on the other side.
I imported a factory badge directly from Japan via Amayama.

Thanks, Nev - I'll check his MX-5 badge first.
