Ola!
So I'm having trouble tracking down a replacement nut for the front hub on my NB. Local dealer, Mania, and Sparesbox are all out of stock. Repco has generic axle nuts that are the right thread but they don't have the flared base like the OEM ones do.
Am I better off with the Repco nut plus an appropriate sized washer, or is there nothing special about this nut and I should instead be speaking with a fastener store to try and find a flared nut with the right thread?

Re: NB replacement hub nut
Try Amayama or Partssouk
I’ve bought from both (including genuine hub nuts)

Pretty sure I have a used one, if that helps tide you over - but I presume you have one of those anyway.
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Re: NB replacement hub nut
Thanks The American! Have one on its ways.
No need for a spare used on thanks GM. The existing nut copped somewhat of a beating to get it off so for the price involved I'd like to replace it anyway, but it should (touch wood as I say that out loud) suffice until a new one arrives.
