Hi folks, I know I haven't posted here for ages - kind of goes hand-in-hand with my usage of the SP since 2012 (less than 25k klms in a decade... :roll:

).
So I ran out of reasons to keep taking up a garage space and paying rego & insurance on it - hence it's auction on Collecting Cars. Happy to answer questions (and it's not too far from meeting a very modest reserve :wink:

).

So - to help with forum compliance:
Car is currently in Qld (Brisbane area); no finance owing; body condition is good (for its age and klm's); about 6 months rego on it (and I have a current roadworthy certificate for it).

I feel your pain Dave. Only started driving my car after many years of it just sitting there and it's grown right back at me. GWLS but maybe just take out for a fang before the auction ends. You might just change your mind!

Thanks for the encouragement Hamx5ter, however it's a done deal now!
For any that missed it, sold for $25k. That's half of what I paid for it 20 years & 280,000 klms ago, so I'm not complaining. :wink:

New owner is based in Melbourne, although he spends most of his time in China looking after business interests, so I think she will have a fairly quite life ahead - at least in the near future. (He has owned several NAs in the past, however always wanted an SP.)

MX5 SPs tend not to achieve high/collector prices. It's kind of unknown. People say one day they will be worth something - if not nowadays, when?
RX7 SP is the complete opposite (they were collectable from day one).
