NB Wheel Centre Cap
Hi all,
I'm looking for an NB Wheel Centre Cap for my 2003 model please?
I took the stock wheels off some time ago to put some 17" mags on, however, after cracking one due to a major pothole the other day, I decided to go back to the stock ones until I can get some cash together for a new set of mags.
I looked online for a new one and nearly fell over to see people asking $60 a pop.
I was hoping someone out there may have a spare they could part with, without wanting a kidney and a new born child in exchange.
Thanks for any help in my quest.
Wayne.

Re: NB Wheel Centre Cap
So, are the 16 centre caps the same as 15s - are they interchangeable?
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Good question Mr. Green. Unfortunately, I don't know.

I asked around and yes, they are different caps between 15" and 16".

Re: NB Wheel Centre Cap
I find that wheel cracks caused by pot holes are due to under inflated tires.

16inch wheels take 52mm cap
Unfortunately the current mazda cap which is very attractive is 58mm so you can't use that.

No, the tyres were inflated correctly Bruce. The pothole was about 6 inches deep by about 1 metre by 2 metres, so I don't think the air pressure, whatever it was, would've made much difference. We've had lots of heavy rain over the past month which has created havoc on our local roads.

Sigh, ... I should have remembered the cutouts for the nuts.
I went down to Nowra last weekend, gave Taralga/Braidwood-Nerriga-Nowra a miss for exactly that reason, went down via Batemans Bay, back via Wollongong and Picton Rd, quite the scenic route but mercifully relatively free of potholes.

Pleased to hear Mr. Green. The Mid North Coast unfortunately, is starting to look like the surface of the moon. The roads are an utter disgrace.

Re: NB Wheel Centre Cap
Then you'd have to paint them and make sure the colour matched...
