The new rules talk about "vehicle local zone". What's that?

Asking because the rules state the log book must be completed if driving outside the vehicle local zone.

Basically if you are going for a drive you need to put an entry into the log book. If you are just moving it onto the street (or park it regularly on the street) you don't need to make an entry. It's common sense as technically you can't drive/park it on the road without an entry.

In terms of Vic CPS & ICVs, it's emerged that there's a difference in understanding about what the new regulations should say between the Vicroads policy & engineering areas.
