[SOLD] Begi turbo manifold for NA/NB 1.8 T25/28 (NSW)

Postby greenMachine » Wed Jul 28, 2021 8:39 pm

I have for sale a BEGI cast exhaust manifold, suits T25/T28 turbos on late 1993 to 2005 MX5s, i.e. 1.8 litre engines. The manifold has not been used and it is in a 'as new condition'. I bought it off aka_juffa a few years ago but am not going to use it, and there is no point in hanging on to it. This is not the best manifold in the world, but it a solid cast item, and will probably survive a nuclear war.

Looking for $300, which is less than I paid for it IIRC. Happy to post, but it is a heavy lump and won't be cheap.

PMs only please.

Photos coming.

Bump.

Need this gone - if it sticks around much longer, I'll have to put it on an engine, and then I'll really get myself into trouble!

How has this NOT sold?
Cast manifolds are as bullet-proof as you can get - anyone wanting a budget turbo conversion should snap this up, even if they don't want to do it right now.

Tell me about it! One jumps in, and then nobody wants to miss their turn at kick the dummy while he is down. Then nobody says anything when it is shown to be wrong ... sigh. You should have seen I the caning I got with the NB8A/B auto wheels. I got the last laugh though. I sold them there, but put the price up $50 for 'FB tax' 8) .

If FB is such a toxic place why do people use it? I guess they are a bit (lot) silly.

I think the guys who "proved" that 17" rims on NA/NBs were just as good as 15" or 16" rims all migrated from here to Facebook.

I was actually accused of being "a liar" here when I wrote "BS" to their "BS" despite the laws of physics (rotational momentum) being on my side and every MX5 guru around the world stating/knowing the same thing.

Luckily for me, I've let all this go now...
(nah, not really, I get annoyed when people wont budge despite all evidence against them or when they realise it but won't admit it, thinking that they're "saving face" when in reality it just seems that they're incapable of reason).

you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink it. The big rims were originally used to fit the brakes within them in the 2L European championships. late 90 perhaps or maybe early 2000's. some clowns still think if its good on a race car, it must be good on a road car.

didnt the guys on top gear do something like that?

on ford in the UK you could upgrade the rims & tires for a handsome sum. they took it around thire rav]ctrack & the upgrade was slower......
and I do realize, that with those particular clowns you need to take everything with a grain of salt. Its more about entertainment than facts.
