Standard in the US where NAs had airbags. They drool over our stock Momos that most of us wore out and were worthless until a couple of years ago...

you think so? Mazda Australia wanted $1100 for one but yea if you looked around I got one for about $250 in the early 2000's

I think I bought one for about $30 back in 2012 or so. But, just like the cars they were attached to, they are now difficult to find in good condition so they fetch a premium.

Hey Juffa, if you've not seen NA prices of late in Oz the following 1996 NA8 LE with 77k kms for $34k isn't unusual as an indicator of COVID prices at the top end:

Hi Paul,
I am aware of the COVID induced pricing, but not to the level of that NA LE yikes.
Likely that my NA will be up for sale in the next 12 to 24 months (refer signature). Not planning (if I am still able to make that decision) to ask silly price, would prefer that she go to some that appreciates her.
