Not mine etc - appears to need plenty of work, but at $2.5k also appears to be a bargain, particularly in the current market: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/parrama ... 1277942189
1989 Mazda MX-5 Manual Convertible $2,500
Original 1989 MX5. Was to be a project car but ended up as a daily drive when COVID said no. Engine runs well and tight gearbox but clutch went a couple of months ago so has been sitting in storage. Dont have the time or money but want it to go to someone that puts it to good use. All but one panel are straight and original. Dash is cracked from age and needs replacing. Ideal for parts or rebuild as I know how hard it is to find original parts! Happy to answer any questions regarding condition. Sad to let her go but she needs more love than I can offer and now the rego has expired I have to get it off the street. Selling as is where is.
Would prefer to sell all together but would consider stripping for parts.

F33nix Mk2
but its not happeneing . would be happy to put the 2.5K down unseen.... don't kow how to go & get it. 2400 km drive back. too risky with border closures and were in lockdown

That would be a looong drive with no clutch...

Sounds like the good old slave cylinder failure perhaps?
