Fitting NA halo's (Jeep Wrangler)

I've installed these and they look great but I noticed the lens are more bulbous than the OEM lights and hence protrude a little further. As such, when the lights go up/down, it rubs ever so slightly against the rubber trim on the base of the light.

For those who've done the install, did you notice the same? It's not really a big deal but I do notice some small scratches on the lens from the repeated motion. If possible I prefer not to cut the trim so would be interested in any solutions you may have

See pic below (note, this isn't my car - I didn't have time to take a pic of it yet). The trim I'm talking about is the black bit on the bottom that has 3 plugs holding it in
