Yes,excellent drives in that list.I used to live in the upper Yarra Valley but moved to near Wilsons Promontory and the roads here are just fantastic! What a great state we live in -

Yes definitely good driving in that area- fortunately there are still places to visit and drive around Melbourne on the Eastern side where we have lots of trees

Re: East of Melbourne....
A few other ones that are great:
Eildon to Jamieson
Powelton to Nojee
Grand Ridge Rd (Ellinbank to Mirboo North)
Sunny Creek Rd
I am planning my next drive from Loy Yang to Devon North, via the Tarra Valley. Apparently there are a few nice spots to admire along the route.

Re: East of Melbourne....
Great list.
Sometimes I'll sleep at the in-laws in Ringwood and head out there at 5.30am on a weekday (I work shift, best thing ever).
I'm in healseville by 6am and I have everything to myself.

Re: East of Melbourne....
I just read an article in Motor - road test of a 4litre Boxster- they took a run from Heyfield to Licola- apparently you can go on to Jamieson but some is unmade so sports car are maybe suspect for that. The drive test did not actually impress- the car by the sound of it is too low and a not very supple. A friend has an 2003 Boxster and it rides very well and suitable for long hauls.
The lists are good - the Eildon to Jamieson is apparently pretty hairy.

Re: East of Melbourne....
I visited the Tarra Valley during the break, from Tarralgon South to Devon North. Weather wasn't ideal, but enjoyed the drive and the area.
