Hi guys,
Last week, I installed a set of Gforce extractors on my stock NB 10AE and while I was doing so...decided to fabricate some blank plates to effect an EGR delete.
I finished the task late in the day and took it for a quick test run...initially it bogged down badly and then after winding up, it seemed to come on song....however I had to leave it with my brother and he hasn't had the opportunity to take it for an extended run, to prove the change.
My query is:- Does the stock OEM ECU automatically adjust to the EGR delete??
For your info...remarkably, the GeForce bolted straight in, with just a very small downstream flange misalignment...well done GForce.
Only issue was a vibration (aka rattle) in the tunnel, where my exhaust wrap increased the diameter...at the critical point.
Appreciate your input.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Re: NB 10AE EGR DELETE
This topic didn't show up in the new posts for me for some reason, maybe a timing thing?
Anyway, I suspect you'll throw a Check Engine Light pretty soon. The ECU won't make any changes though as far as I know, maybe someone else will provide more info?
