Today I had a wheel alignment done on my 02' NB, when I got home I looked at the data sheet and was a little confused with the toe- in numbers.
Then looked at the model Mazda on the sheet, seems it's for a Mazda NC? Are these numbers correct for my NB?
The numbers I gave them were Front - Caster:5.0 degrees, Camber 1.0 degree negative, Toe-in 1.5mm - Rear Camber 1.5 degree negative, Toe-in 1.5mm
Bit confused, sorry. Any help appreciated.

Re: 02 NB Alignment numbers
I'm quite surprised they performed it so accurately side to side. The alignment itself will 'work', but it's not what you asked for so I would take it back.
Most of the time I've have bad experiences at alignment shops, but this guys seems to be pretty good.

Re: 02 NB Alignment numbers
The toe-in figures are in degrees/minutes, not mm. It's easy enough to convert using trigonometry.
I don't know the overall diameter of your tyres, but my guess is that 0 deg 08' total would be about 1.5mm total (the NB8A factory manual shows 1.5mm toe as equating to 0 deg 09').
The NC reference is probably nothing more than just JAX putting the wrong model on your sheet?

Re: 02 NB Alignment numbers
Alignment still dumfounds me for some reason but it drives much better than before the adjustment, it was very nervous in a straight line, so I'll leave it at that. Thanks for the replies.

Re: 02 NB Alignment numbers
I presume it's the toe figures that are still confusing you, as the camber & caster on the sheet is what you asked for.
Toe stated in degrees is the angle, looking from above, that the wheel is pointed in (or out) from the straight ahead.
The angle of toe in of each front wheel on your sheet is 4 minutes = 4/60 degrees = 0.0667 degrees
To convert to mm, the formula is: toe in (mm) = tyre dia (mm) x sine of angle
If your tyres are 600mm dia, toe in = 600 x sine 0.0667 = 0.7mm (per side)
Total toe in would be 0.7 x 2 = 1.4mm
I'd say all the figures on your sheet are what you asked for. But is the cars alignment accurate to the sheet?
Get 3 tyre dealers to measure your alignment & you'll get 3 different answers!

Re: 02 NB Alignment numbers
Thank you very much for that RS2000 You have explained that so well I think I understand it! As you said it's correct on the readout they have given me, I now understand, and it makes the last alignment done weeks ago all over the shop.
It drives great now.
Thanks very much again.
Cheers
