Fan Windscreen washers
Hi all,
I've done a search and didn't come up with anything, but don't think I'm the first in Aus to want to do this.... I want to improve the windscreen washer nozzles from jets to the newer fan style. I found some internet content that say to use a Mazda Tribute part (MZ-EC01-67-50YA) or ford 'maverick/escape (F4097642). But my local mazda dealer here doesn't recognise the numbers. Ebay doesnt list much (with reasonable delivery rates).
So has anyone done this? Is the Aussie Tribute nozzles fan types and exchangable with NA?
Thanks
Callum

Re: Fan Windscreen washers
That is the Mazda part number.
Expensive as they only seem to be available in the USA. Shipping and Tax costs more than item.

It's a previous subject on the forum and there was even a bulk buy arranged and I fitted a pair. 93 clubman is the maestro in finding history so stay tuned. It will not change your life but it is better than the original water pattern.

I think that thread was lost when I had to purge the database it keep it manageable for the forum software.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Yeah, looks like the group buy thread isn't available, but it looks like there's a few hits in this: search.php?keywords=%22washer+nozzle*%22&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

When i run the search "washer nozzle" I get lots on chrome ones and weeping jets.93_Clubman wrote:Yeah, looks like the group buy thread isn't available, but it looks like there's a few hits in this: search.php?keywords=%22washer+nozzle*%22&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search
Short answer seems to be, no one has found the Aussie numbers.
Thanks to those who have responded so far.

Re: Fan Windscreen washers
Good find. With those numbers, mazda tells me thats the right hand one, $18. And they also have the left $18.
So i have ordered and collect tomorrow - will let you know how it goes.
For interest he said the "7510" always means washer nozzle in their partnumbers. And in this case 2 is right and 3 is left. So:
Right washer nozzle for tribute: E11267510
Leftt washer nozzle for tribute: E11367510

Re: Fan Windscreen washers
My recollection was that the Tribute and Escape as released in Australia did not use the same washer jet as USA. Oddly enough I did have an Escape at the time and it definitely was not the same washer jet.

Re: Fan Windscreen washers
I can now confirm...... they are not fan spray nozzles, just twin jets.
So dont order those part numbers :-)

Re: Fan Windscreen washers
I bought the spray nozzles from the group buy, but changed them back to the factory nozzles as I wasn't happy with them. They leave a dirty section in the lower corner of the windscreen in front of the driver that the factory one's dont. Couldn't seem to get round it. I'll see if I can find them for you and if I can you can have them...I'll PM you tomorrow...
