Thanks heaps Kev!
I hope you are well mate.
That’s a hell of a compliment, thankyou.
Hopefully this year will see the car really come along, I have some big plans that should see it go to the next level..... I’m watching some tracking numbers at the moment so keep an eye on the build thread
Time or money will be the deciding factor, I’ll either have one or the other I feel lol.

I don’t want to just improve the car this year I would also really like to try get some charity runs in again like Brass monkey, always good to be out with like minded people supporting those in need, especially after “Rona” nicks off.

Thx Alex. I’ve finished the interior only recently and have only a few things left to do under the bonnet. Miss driving it during some lovely Autumn weather at the moment.

Your car is looking special.

Update of my interior.
Removed the entire centre 'tombstone' section. The few switches that remain are on a small panel across the top, along with a couple of warning lights.
Still loving the OMP corsica, my favourite wheel.

Looking good mate, very neat.
Are you still using the RC battery? How’s it holding up?

Thank you, yes, still using the RC lifepo4 battery setup. It is generally flawless.
I have the setup on the above pictured NB, but also my street NA car.

I ended up running two batteries, it definitely helped, more detail here:

Beavis, what's the green 3D-printed part to the right of the steering wheel hold?

- hit it with some VHT black vinyl dye to "make it disappear".

That is for the Go Pro remote control. There's also a grey one you can just make out in the far top right to hold my GPS, and between the two is the phone holder - these two are my "laptimer" solution.
The stupid bright colour doesn't bother me. It's functional and when driving I'm too focused on other things to even notice it.
Obviously on a road car where aesthetics/interior matter, it wouldn't work. But for this car, the way I see it, it adds charm :P

As you can see, this a work in progress.Today I installed a wood-rim Nardi wheel that I bought off a guy who got it in Japan but never used it - it still had tags on it from the shop he got it from. It did come with the far nicer Nardi airbag centre, but I'll have to find an inflator to match - it didn't come with one and my SE inflator interferes with some rivets on this earlier wheel.

If it was anything else I'd just create notches for the rivets, but I don't feel ok about attacking something that is basically a small bomb with a file.

Now all it needs, apart from the Nardi steering wheel centre, is a MR SSK, wood gear knob and handbrake handle, 2 gauges for the dash and some kind of vaguely classic looking headunit .
