Re: RIP Sterling Moss
A true giant of the sport. Mixed it with the best and just seemed to be unlucky not to win a WC.
He drove in a great variety of motor racing events and did well in them all.
Impressions were of a very charming man who did not suffer from an overblown ego but still had the true 'killer instinct' when racing.
He appeared to have a very good life and his reputation never died and he was still getting sponsorships right to the end.
His name passes into legend, if indeed, it was not already there.

Re: RIP Sterling Moss
Sadly noone lives forever, not even our heroes.
Stirling was a proper hero, not without his flaws but he was truly one of the greats. His mastery of his craft was displayed not by his performances in any one categy, but from GPs to the Mille Miglia.
RIP Stirling, you will be missed.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)
