30/11/19 - Dodgy Day (Queensland)

Postby Magpie » Fri Oct 25, 2019 7:54 am

This was previously planned for 23/11, however has now been moved to 30/11/19.....

If you want to attend reply on here with what you want done... If you want to spectate your more than welcome.

There will be the opportunity to corner weight at least 2 cars. This will depend if people need the ramps to get under the car to do other sort of work....

I will also have some Takumi engine, gearbox and diff oil available (limited amounts) for people who want to try it out.

Whilst I would enjoy having Takumi visit to see what happens, they are in Sydney. I will just leave you with these images...

Sarcasm expected, will exchange for oils :)

Why you do this in summer?! You know, your shed gets really hot? Not hot like the girls above, but hot like you're cooking us for dinner!

I don't know if I'll have anything dodgy to do, but I should be free to attend, assist, and join in on the sarcastic comments.

I have put a large fan in there, and this does help keep the temps lower than ambient... if you like I can air condition it and close it up?

Sarcasm expected!

I'm sure I'll manage. I just like winter better.

I thought those lovely girls pictured above were going to fan us - count me in!

Assuming they arrive in time, I may be fitting these.

How is this dodgy? Can we cut it up and weld it back together in a different config?

Dodgy because I probably won’t fit the hole in my bumper

Yep count me in!!! Been trying to get to one of these forever :)

Not sure if I'll have anything that needs doing, but wouldn't mind corner weighting the car if possible.

Be there early then if you want corner weighting. Gates open very early if you bring coffee :)

I'm afraid I'm out for this one, I have a wedding to attend. Won't be nearly as cool as that one guy who got married at Lakeside though

Rest assured, I will be carrying on in dodgy tradition in my own garage whenever possible.
