After market head lights

Does anyone know if these type of light are any good..brightness and distance wise

I would say not enough information. Depends on quite a few things. Headlamps for OEM were once something that required careful engineering by informed makers i.e. an approved headlamp that meets regulations. THe OEM product should be ok albeit not nearly as good as modern new technology led headlamps. If the lenses dont have a hard coat to protect against UV they probably will not last very long. The NBP2 lights were pretty good and used a projector whereas the earlier h/lamp was using a conventional reflector lens and was still probably ok. Incidentally a bright light is not always good because it needs to control the light.
