Bridgestone SF325 NA OEM Tyres

Postby chops » Wed Sep 18, 2019 12:59 pm

I know Bridgestone have started to remake these OEM tyres for the NA but i am intrigued if anyone has actually got their hands on them in Australia?
I have spoken to Gordon Leven and also to Bridgestone Australia with no luck. I know i can get something more modern/better but i have a concours NA and i really like the idea of having a set of these

Any ideas? Japanese hookups?

Very last line in the article says it is only on sale in Japan. Time to contact Bridgestone Japan and order a set.

They are available in Australia if you are willing to make a small compromise:

But on the plus side, you get a car full of parts too.

Hi Chops.
If you have a concourse na model you will have had to have the top up continually since new. The reason the seats were black black when new and exposure to the sun makes them go a lighter shade and therefore not what would be considered a concourse interior. You can dye them.

interior is pretty mint, seats are not faded and has won a couple of NSW Club concours

I have just ordered some Pirelli Cinturato P7 for another car and i really like the period correct look on some cars and i think these are a cool addition to that style of car.

A bit more research has found someone who can get them to me but at about $1800+ for a set!

They were never going to be cheap or even close to a reasonable price.
They'd be expensive in Japan, then you have to import them as a once-off, pay taxes, horrible exchange rate and the importer would want a good margin for all the hassle.
