10mm wide cable ties also work

I've never had an issue with them, on any car.

and that includes the MX5 where they've been bent, pried, stretched etc many times when the exhaust has been on and off the car.

Mine allowed too much sideways flex, 2.5 inch exhaust would bump into stuff under cornering forces. Nice to stop the clunking.

Yeah tried cable ties but not 10mm, i have a heavy muffler stuck up the back off the car. It tends o sway about. I did stick 6mm cable ties all over it but they fell off. Hence I'm going for hose clamps to crush them up a bit.
