Gas bonnet struts on na

Anyone running one of these kits or similar on their na and whats it like?
The gas struts not 2 strong and want to break your hinges or bend the bonnet ?

I run some IL motorsports ones and hey are awesome. Only drawback is that you have to polish them occasionally otherwise rust gets to them.
I don't know if those ones have this issue.

I had them on my car for a couple of years and then removed them. The stress on the hinges slowly bent them out of shape so now the bonnet sits a bit higher at the back than it should. They also caused some very alarming bonnet harmonic shaking at speeds over about 180kmh. Felt like the car was about to explode. Other than that no problems.

I bought a set from e-bay for my 4x4. They were rubbish. I took them off and chucked them in the bin.

Yeh how small the mx5 hinges are is what had me worried
