Not really, just set up the connection in the RaceChrono settings. Then start a session, it will ask you to select your track or just find it automatically from the gps.

However, the biggest issue and potentially serious was the exhaust manifold contacting the steering column on left handers. I’ll post a pick up and see if anyone else has had this problem.

I had the same with my Goodwin header. I swapped it to a Racing beat header and no touchies any more.

I find it very frustrating that many of the US parts suppliers don't take RHD into account when designing parts or at least warn us that they don't know if the bits will fit our cars. On a side note, I have read FAB9 turbo stuff doesn't fit RHD

Yes, it’s very frustrating! Good to hear the racing beat one is ok. I don’t want to go to super stiff engine mounts.

Hey thanks for that, really interesting. I’m sure there’s lots of variables involved but it does look like the extra 50bhp is giving you more speed on the straights and my NT01’s are giving more grip than your AD008’s around the corners. I was very conservative under brakes into turn one and hungry so more time to come.
I’ll jeep posting data from my sessions, it makes it interesting to compare.

time time time, do you get more fun from chasing time? I'm not you, interested in times, but I do like chasing another car around with similar times, fun times ..each to their own. I get it, but he investment of time and resources...most fun is had by trying to get past the other MF that you can't get past. Having said that sticking a 2.5 in an NC does sound like a good way to go faster.

Totally agree, it’s not about time for me. The only thing that matters is having fun. I’ve really enjoyed putting the car together and I’m certainly enjoying driving it. Times are of interest though, maybe that’s my racing past! Everyone’s different though, except we all love our cars

Thanks Matt, I've had a good play last night to get familiar before the Sprints on Saturday and Racing on Sunday :)

Sounds like ya happy with the car even in these early days. More fun to come with development. Thanks for sharing the journey Matt.

The EBC Yellow pads arrived from the UK, delivery took 7 days and total cost shipped was $340. These pads are used in the UK MX5 series so will be interesting to compare with the A1RM’s.
Before I started I had to tap the holes for the disc retaining screws as they completely stripped off!

The A1RM’s have done 5000 road km’s and 4 half day track sessions. Probably a bit more left in them but I’m always super cautious on brakes.

I’m planning on doing another general practice session at Lakeside on the 13th July so will be able to report back on their performance.

Did you lube the slider pins when you changed the pads?

General Practise on 13 July, interesting. I might pencil it in. Changed my injectors and need to do a bit of AFR checking.
