Re: Most recent/favourite pictures of your car
Hey, hey!
Did you see the possible photo locations around Eltham village?
It is a shame the defunct rail depot is covered in 'save our depot' signs as it would make for a sweet background subject. There is also an old iron(?) truss bridge located in the village covered in foliage that would be great to sneak onto for a pic!

Yeah, I did see the old rail station and bridge... but I’m not as adventurous as you! Thanks for finding this locale, though, it’s great.

Let me take a stab; you're 51 years old and this is the nearest your getting to owning an Aston Martin.

I think you're wrong, Bruce. The mightycarmods banner suggests a younger driver. Can't argue about the AM influence though.
Still, the car looks good, what's under those vents?

I'm 46 and an MCM fan so don't rule it out
Interesting kit, certainly changes the look.

But would you put a banner on your car? I like MCM, I'm but a spritely 38 and I wouldn't. But I guess it takes all types, and our cars are an expression of our interests.
The vents are by Singular in the US I believe, they make them for NA and NB as well. Some people even put the NC ones onto the NB.

My son would say you're on the money, I say I'm still young enough to do the work myself so an Aston is once I'm really old and it's wasted on me

2.5 swap, Kraftwerks Rotrex SC, CSF 7015 radiator, Goodwin maxpower header, hemholtz mid and SuperQ… Getting the SC to fit and run reliably has been a 12 month process, still finagling the tune with Mike@Moto-East but I'm getting consistent numbers through the logs so may get it on the dyno soon.

Indeed, don't rule it out I've had my car since new in '06 and started watching MCM when I first started looking for ways to mod it after warranty was getting short

Correct, fitted them last weekend and I cannot tell you how many bricks were being shat when I was looking to make the first incision

Very nice.

Yep, you win this round!

Yeah, cutting the bonnet for those vents would be scary. I might need to do it to mine one day, but it will be a last resort. Looks like you did a great job.

I'm a bit put out about your comment Lachy.
54 with a "CHOPPED" label on the roll bar. And you and I have been out on a cold Sunday drive together when I had my MCM 'DIY Garage' shirt on.
Fun in the Sun on the "GC" - oops, now in "PS"

I sincerely apologise to all MCM fans young and old. I made assumptions and clearly I don't know what I'm talking about.
