Re: New Tyres
What is important to you?
grip in dry
grip in wet
purchase cost
lifetime
Pretty much every tyre will be a balance of those factors.
Personally, if it were me, and i was selling it in the near future, i'd just buy whatever is cheapest and not totally rubbish.
The Toyo and Kumho brands usually are a good balance of quality/price/grip.
If you want something a bit better, the Bridgestone RE003 is a very good balance.
Dry grip is quite good, wet grip is fine, and the price is reasonable.
Lifetime depends on use obviously, but mine have about 20 or 30,000km on them currently and have plenty of life to go.

Re: New Tyres
I just got some RE003's for my family car. I love them. Plenty of grip wet and dry and nice positive feel.
That being said in your position I would look for any decent tyre with a sport bias that has a deal going at the time.
You just missed out on 4 for the price of 3 with Potenza Bridgestone tyres so look out for what else is there in that range.
Value for money I have heard bf goodrich g-force sport comp-2 are really good for the money too.
here are some with deals on them ATM.
