Just wondering if anyone has put LEDs or HIDs into their NB, I know HIDs aren’t really recommend because of fitment but I’m over the dull yellow colour of my headlight and need brighter bulbs, any suggestions ?

Yes Hammer has LED's for both low and high beam in his SP.
Auxbeam LED's. I think he had the S3 model from memory. I couldn't be bothered searching for you but he did post somewhere about them, but he is happy with them.
I put a set of Auxbeam S2 H7 Led's in my Peugeot 207 a few weeks ago as I only payed $40 for them shipped and I am relatively happy with them. The only thing I did not like is the light about 10m in front of the car has a bright spot.
Fitment on some cars can be an issue because they are generally longer on the back side due to a heatsink and fan. In my Pug they just fitted, the rear of the heat sink just touches the rubber cap.
A NB will be no issue though as there is heaps of room at the back of the light.
Just keep in mind that no HID or LED is legal in a fitting that was built for halogens if you are concerned about that sort of stuff.
If you want to stay legal you really can only put Halogens in.
I would stay steer clear of Narva Performance Halogen globes. Sure they are ADR compliant and they are brighter and white than standard halogen globes but they do not last long, which they clearly state in the product info.
Super Cheap Auto ones are even worse.
No idea if Phillips are any better. Never tried them and never will based on my experience with other "high performance" halogen globes.

Alrighty thanks man I’ll look for his thread on them. I’m not too fussed with legality really just wanted to make sure I would melt the headlight housing or anything like that.
Staying well away Narva stuff and the super cheap auto crap, just don’t want to spend an arm and leg and I’ve heard LEDs have garbage output.

I have the NB8B headlights with LED bulbs for the entire exterior. I reside within Sydney if you wanted to check it out.

Ah okay man, I’m about 3 hours from Sydney so I’m not too keen on the drive but when kind of LEDs do you have ?
