Aaahhh! My eyes! Did you notice at 1:58 the sun reflecting off the emblem on the steering wheel? I'm typing this blind now.

Good vid though - be nice to run around the Ring, especially if there was a bit less traffic.

Nope, I didn't notice that at all I was too busy watching what an amazing drive this was.

Tyres gave up after 6 minutes of abuse. He had to do a lot more arm work from 6 minutes onwards.

I have never been on a 'track' so I know nothing about it but he looked like he was going pretty well to me.
I did wonder why he seemed to really have the elbows out towards the end of the lap. That explains it.

Was it the tyres going off, or did he just start pushing harder?
