Hi everyone,
please educate me about Radiators.
yea sure Id love one of those JDM fancy bling radiators but I just don't want to afford $1k
are those all alloy eBay radiators any good? thety seem to go for around $160 or less
its another thing I can polish in the Engine bay.
I get for my use, a 52 core is total overkill. But does 52 fit on a NA6 chassis with a 1.8 upgrade?
do the NB radiators fit the NA6/8 chassis?
I'm kicking myself I left the under tray under the house which has been rented out. 6mnths before I can get to it again at least.
Cooling , Radiators & so on.

Why not ask the property manager to contact the tenants to seek permission to access the property to retrieve the part.StanTheMan wrote:I'm kicking myself I left the under tray under the house which has been rented out. 6mnths before I can get to it again at least.

Re: Cooling , Radiators & so on.
I refitted my undertray and it did not make a difference (but my setup is completely difft).
Regards radiators, what I read from this forum;
-the cheap alloy ones are OK (Koyo?)
-go the thin one as fitment is easier than the thicker ones
-for your setup the thin one is fine (plus there's the argument that the thin ones work better due to air being able to pass thru them easier)
-not sure if NB rads fit NA (I'm assuming they do?)

NB8b and NA6 radiator mounts are very different. NA mounts on the side of the radiator, NB top and bottom.
I’ve read of clearance issues with stock fans on a 52mm but haven’t tried it myself. 42 fits ok.
