I am super jealous of your lift still. Could you imagine dropping the transmission for the clutch with the car on jack stands?! :shock:

I hit my head enough on the hoist. Is NO way I would attempt on stands!

When I eventually move house I'll miss the hoist too. Next time I'll get a 2 poster so there is less to smack my head on!!!

Yeah, Photobucket realised the errors of their ways. I think you now get x free views or some such. So basically low bandwidth users such as us are good, but ebay sellers and the like need to pay but still not that stupid amount they initially charged.

I think the genius who came up with the ransom business plan got fired :mrgreen:

Still, I won't be going back.

This arvo i recalibrated my TPS which brought the car to life some but still nowhere near as punchy as she used to be on my old tired motor. Idle was also up above 1,500 rpm.

So I popped into Ricol Automotive, the guys that did my tune. Colin suggested I adjust the idle backing plate screw, which I did. The usual idle screw was already fully in. Then I changed some settings in the idle itself on tuner studio and brought the idle down to 950/1000. Good enough for now.

Anyways, Colin reckons about an hour on the dyno to adjust for the new donk.

I mentioned that I want to make up 3 inch exhaust and he said won't effect tune.

Basically my plans now are to make up a 3 in zorst and source a nissan s15 T28 ball bearing turbo.

Then Colin can tune for a couple of hours, turbo and new donk and she should go harder then before with quicker spool up.

At the moment she runs ok but quicker spool up will be better

Is a work in progress as is the vented bonnet.

Most people don't like the vented items and believe that standard looks much better

Well it's not finished and I'm not most people...

Had planned to get a spare boot lid and mould a curved duck tail to it.
Then paint the vented bonnet, boot lid, headlight covers gloss black for some track days.
I reckon it'll look mean!

Then I could simply unbolt and bolt on the stock items for regular road use.
No rush as plenty of other things happening but that it my plan...

Me too! Not sure when I'll get to it with everything else that is happenin though. Was hoping to learn how to weld alloy so I can fab up the sides but I'd need access to an inverter welder first...

The headlight cover is easy being steel.
