Recommendation for sandwich plate, oil filter relocation, and position for said relocation - NB

Postby systmoveride » Wed Nov 07, 2018 4:04 pm

Hey all, in the market for a good oil filter relocation kit, and where abouts I can mount it on the NB.
Ideally looking for something that can have an oil pressure sender attached to it as well, otherwise also looking to invest in a good sandwich plate that I can use for oil pressure and/or temp (still undecided on temp at this point as I already have water temp), and eventually run an oil cooler off of.

Any brands or kits you'd recommend would be greatly appreciated! :D

If you want neat, tidy and factory looking this is the kit you want.

http://www.thompson-automotive.com/relocation.html

It uses a existing hole that is threaded in a NB for fitment. Only 1 other hole to drill for NB8B. NB8A no drilling as 2nd hole is already there.
It sits behind the right hand side headlight.
I have had mine in for years, with no signs of leakage with plenty of track use.

It does not meet your requirement of having a oil pressure sender.
It does have a port for oil temperature.

And the site always says no stock. Email them.

I emailed them a couple of times ages ago (last year) but never received a reply. I seem to recall someone on here a few months ago saying these kits aren't available anymore. Shame because they always appeared good quality and had good reviews.
