On their mailing list so got an email today. Doing the Buy3 get one free on Hankook. And it includes the RS4.

$145.50 for 225/45/15 RS4, very tempting!

I spoke to a jax quick fit today about the tyres - apparently the RS-4 isn't included in the special.

Anyone else spoken to them about the tyres?

Edit - called another store - hankook has no stock in 225/45R15, so they won't be covered under the deal.

That's crap. Clear as day on their website.
Sick of companies advertising sh*t and not wanting to deliver.

I can tell you now that in the past with these sort of 4 for 3 deals, my local Jax Honours the deal weather they have the tyres in stock or not as it based on ordering them, not what stock they have on the shelf. The warehouse generally has a lot of tyres.
The terms and conditions do say no back orders, but if they had little to no stock in the first place, that is against fair trading rules.
What date did you try doing this. If it was within the first couple of days of the promotion, they don't have a foot to stand on.
Plus they still have them advertised on their website for that price, again no foot to stand on. It should go back to the normal price if they have no stock.
You will find by suggesting you will complain to fair trading about bait advertising you may end up getting the product as advertised as they won't want to deal with the crap.

BTW, JAX is owned by Hankook.

It's not just JAX offering this deal. I rang my local Bob Jane and they are doing RS4 in 4 for 3 deal priced exactly the same as JAX till the end of October.
If that's how JAX replied, I'd take my money elsewhere.

i did it yesterday... I'm not too fussed about it, was just calling to get a legit quote then would have decided if I was going to get them.

JAX Geelong is honouring the deal on RS4s, but according to them there are only 2 in Australia in 225/45/15...

I don't think they come in 205/50 but do come in a wide 195/50, which I've read is as wide as many other brands' 205/50 (eg RE71R).

I don't know whether it's just a timing thing or not, but there never seems to be any stock of 225/45/15 RS4s in the country when I have enquired. It was ultimately what made me decide to stick with 8" rims over going 9".
