Speaker Baffles
As we all know the doors of NA's are as water tight as a seive, so when I put in new speakers I'd like to use speaker baffles to help protect them. Problem is I'm struggling to find a local supplier and shipping from the US is more expensive than the baffles themself. If anyone can point me towards a local supplier preferably in Sydney I'm all ears.

Re: Speaker Baffles
I've been thinking about the same thing of late. I was just going to do the headunit to get maps and handsfree more than anything but I've been thinking about it and it makes sense to replace the 20 year old speakers as well.
Is it the XTC foam baffles you've been looking at? I haven't found a local supplier either so if anyone does know one I'd appreciate it as well.

The XTC's are what I would like, they seem to be the preferred option overseas.

I've been having a browse while watching the race and found an alternative - DEI Boom Mat baffles that a few local places do stock. Unfortunately they're not much cheaper than importing the XTC ones and the XTC ones do have a great range of sizes/depths.

Re: Speaker Baffles
Good time to do some searching, the race was quite possibly the most boring on record.
I did see the DEI Boom Mat baffles in my searching but they seemed expensive for what they were and there is only limited sizing available. I might have to do some ringing around.

Random google result.

Otherwise, i'd just go to clark rubber, it looks like they're just a piece of waterproof foam with some double sided tape.

Re: Speaker Baffles
Last time I went to Clark Rubber I almost choked from laughing so hard at the price. Roughly 400x400x25 piece of foam rubber offcut and they wanted ~$180 for it. Ended up buying a 2400x1200 sheet interstate and having it delivered for about $80.
Certainly an option but these are formed to shape etc. It'd be harder but not impossible to make your own. There's nothing special about the material so they shouldn't be as expensive as they are.
