Hi guys,
I am parting out my mx5 turbo and selling it all as a stock thing.
Basically, as many of you know, its much easier and straightforward to sell as a stock standard car and a turbo kit with some extras.
I'd like to clarify the process before i go unbolting parts willy nilly.
Unbolt intercooler set up
Remove turbo, plugging oil drain ports
Replace turbo manifold with stock headers (connected to stock exhaust)
Reinstall MAF with filter.
Install O2 sensor (just the one near the headers for a 93 model i think?)
Install thermo fan sensor on front neck (I assume i need to wire this back up, I'll be researching this on the weekend but if anyone can link a quick how-to, legend)
Unbolt COP kit and replace injectors and coil pack with stock ones.
Unplug MS2 PNP and plug in stock ecu (shouldn't need to mess around with wiring as its a PNP right?
Install stock throttle position sensor.
Pray to gods, start car
This is the process in its basic form correct? Are there any pitfalls need to watch out for or handy hints that would make for a simple night?
Before starting the car for the first time after the job, what should i double check to avoid catastrophe.
I've attached photos of the current set up.
Cheers, Max

Re: Uninstalling turbo from an NA6
Process sounds fine.
Obviously double check wiring etc, especially with the COPS since they often need the ignitor rewired or something (well, toyota ones anyway, not sure about the LS ones)
Also note to remove the MAP sensor and cap the vac port it's attached to
Just find one of the "how to install turbo" threads on one of the MX5/Miata forums and follow it backwards.

Sweet. Yep i've noticed that mentioned a few times, hopefully the wiring is fairly straightforward.
