Guard roller loan/hire?

Postby 3gress » Thu Aug 23, 2018 1:21 pm

Is there anyone located in northern rivers area or lower qld willing to hire/loan a guard roller out to me so i can tackle the rear double seam lips on my NA6?
Beer economy or cash/parts trade etc?
Heat gun, hammer and dolly method is doing me in.
Alternatively a source for a decently priced reliable roller would suffice.
Cheers 8)

I made a small incision with a dremel then used a heat gun and rubber mallet. Worked well.

I've never used one but there's a heap of them on ebay for under $60 delivered if that's an option.

Buy it, use it and resell for $40. Look at it as $20 hire.

I did this when I built my shed, paid $1900 for a heap of scaffold, sold it a year later for $1800, was happy with that.
