After the dead roo smashed my Garage Vary front spoiler I finally got round to fitting the replacement today. No idea how effective it is but it does make the NC1 front end a bit more purposeful.

I’ve also started a bit of a customising thing! First up I plastidipped the mirrors matte black. Easy to do and a good finish despite the crappy nozzle on the spray can. :frown:
Got a few other subtle cosmetics coming soon.

I would be happy if those boxes turned up here. With the wheels in them of course. Where did you get them?

I got them from Autotechnik. They were good on price and had them in stock. I did look at shipping them in from the US but they ended up nearly $2k with shipping and duty.

I got mine (15x8 +28 4x100 Silver) earlier this year from Autotechnik too. Good company, get their stock in regularly and you can't beat the price if you wanted to import yourself (which is a rare thing indeed!)

They're going to look great on your car

Thanks for the nice comments. I went with 17x9 45 offset
I weighed them and the tyres today, the wheels came in at 15.2 lbs and the Nitto NT01’s 24.2lbs so total weihht was 39.4 lbs or 15.8kg.
I’ll weigh the oem set up this weekend.

I really wanted to replace the white stripe with a matte black centre stripe so I got out the plasti dip again!

First up it needed a good clean.

Then off with the old stripes

Next I removed the emblems, not as hard as thought it would be. Just a bit of gloop to clean off.

I decided to do the windscreen frame as well.

Turned out pretty good, just need to fit the emblems.

Looks good!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Looking for a bit of JDM green goodness for the track wheels. Should match the Takata harness :D

Best to start plastidip with a light coat.

Perfect spraying conditions!

Perfect, except somethings missing....
