Look out Rocky - we're here!
The next 3 days are sure to be fun-filled.
We'll be on the lookout for an immaculate Crystal Blue NB8B while we're cruising.
There are 36 cars in attendance (plus one last minute replacement Subaru for a green NB8A which decided that it didn't want to make the journey this morning)
We had a fantastic trip, gathering at Gympie at around 8am, and had morning tea at a café which opened up just for us (Gayndah) and a great lunch at an old fashioned pub at Monto. Lots of fabulous MX5 roads and a wonderful assortment of Club members to add to the equation.
Watch out for the windscreen stickers with Rockhampton 2018 in orange which is the theme colour for the event. We were also presented with matching Tshirts, appropriately themed.
Keep your eyes peeled and give us a wave

Re: MX5CQ QMeet 18 - Rockhampton
Another perfect day in Central Qld.
A visit to the Rockhampton Heritage Village after a fun treasure hunt which saw MX5's darting everywhere in search of some elusive clues.
Then it was time for a bit of last minute dusting off of the cars for the Show 'n Shine. Lots of shiny cars for us and the locals to admire.
A trip back "home" for a freshen up and off again at 3pm for a slow convoy along the riverfront precinct for the benefit of the bystanders.
Also an opportunity to check out a riverfront venue for a warm coffee and a chance to socialise once again.
We also enjoyed catching up with some local MX5 owners including Rocky and his glamour NB8B and Greg with his blue NB8A. Glad thatthey were both able to find time to come along and meet up with us.
Looking forward to another fun day as our time here draws to a close with the farewell dinner tomorrow night.
Thoroughly recommend this event to all as a chance to enjoy a few days of fun with similarly minded enthusiasts.
