That sucks. Especially that we now get slugged with 10% GST plus the Aussie dollar is down around 11% since the start of the year. Encourages us to buy locally (which I guess was the purpose of it).

I'm happy to pay the GST ... well, not happy but I'll deal with it, it's usually still cheaper than buying locally. What I hate is that they hold the damn delivery hostage and the whole process is a drawn out affair.

I was hoping with GST on everything they'd streamline the process for >$1k purchases. I forgot who we're dealing with. :roll:
