Re: billybunters - from a bmw z4 to a mx5 se
it's a laugh that no one really wanted this car or till I dropped the price and I now have 5 interested parties to follow up should the sale drop and he loses his deposit. although it has sold higher than the asking price as the brown davis roll bar was not included in the sale.
when it leaves it looks like it will be heading in the direction pf nitro dann territory

We will decide whether this thread closes and the manner in which it closes.

Yeah indeed, welcome aboard while I consider with about zero fanfare selling 2 mx-5s and simply getting an 86 instead. Gotta check if the track tyres do fit in the boot as claimed.

BillyBunter kindly sent me his spare parts collection! So very generous, i'll have to think of something I can send back
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: billybunters - from a bmw z4 to a mx5 se
glad to hear all is good.
not too concerned about cars at the moment. just ordered new bike number 2 and its due in aust in this colour 20/8 - one more after that and i'd say that's enough bikes to play with....thankyou feathers
plus I did venture into a timely and rather expensive event too and its spelt correctly!
as to the mazda- no I don't really miss it. I had a good run and hopefully the new guy does too.
now who would complain about this as a fun ride -see video

Re: billybunters - from a bmw z4 to a mx5 se
no real plans...just filling in time. there were none in stock so its a case of put down a deposit to order and take the risk that I will like it. I don't care that much. if its good it will stay a while and if not....NEXT!
although the wife did ask..... why do you need 3 motorbikes
that's a good question and I said to her....just in case I have trouble with the other two after-all they are overpriced Indian bikes
over the past 24 hours I was talking to some-one who wanted to know about LOTUSES...and enjoyed the talk THEN the unexpected and he mentioned the FIAT ABARTH !24
I am going to give this idea some serious thought and when I get sick and tied playing with the bikes....so stuff the lotus idea...….I think I could go 124! the big brother to my 595
fiat ..some say a car with class and some say also FOUND IN A TIP!...FIAT
two fiat and both turbo
but that's after I get the chance to play with all 3 bikes for a while and either way I look at it.....I can have more fun on the bikes

Fix It Again, Tony

Fix It Again Tony.
I had a 500 back in the late 60s. Bags of fun, easy to get up on two wheels, and a folding sun roof. Only problems were soft wheel rims (forever bending them), and the air cooling wasn't up to my style of driving, and every so often it would just ... seize up . I'd just chuck it in neutral and coast to a stop, wait 15 minutes, and then it would happily fire up again! I think Mr Crott and his Merry Band would run and hide when they saw me coming
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Good of you to advise. Let's say if I really wanted to buy the plural in CASH...…..I could!

So no big plans for adventure bike riding or anything like that?
Let me know what your thoughts are of it. It looks good, typical Honda though and it's overweight.
Did you get it from Penrith or a local dealer?
