Thanks for the replies guys.

So I ordered a set of AD08R which are being fitted to the Storm S1 wheels this week. Will have them on the car for a run out to Jap Nats next week, but unfortunately just won't have the time to get the car ready to enter. Apart from availability, the reason I went this way is that I 'may' have a run in the WTAC next year if things fall into place, so this will give me an idea of how the car performs on the control tyre for the event.

In saying that, I will keep the Nankang NS-2R tyres in mind as well as the Federal RS-RR which are also another tyre with a treadwear rating of 140. My neighbour has these on a 13B turbo powered AE86 that he's just finished and I will be testing shortly for him, so that will give me some insight into these tyres.
