'Mazda' badge and 'MX-5' NA series 1

Postby bonester » Fri Mar 09, 2018 9:48 pm

I am in the process of painting my 97 Eunos and wish to badge it as a early NA Mazda. The rear plastic panel is unlike the Australian NA8 that has the wider panel for foreign plates- my car is like the NA6. (Narrow plate)
The left hand badge (Roadster which I wish to replace with MX-5) has no pins and no holes drilled as a result. Is the MX-5 (early) badge the same? The Eunos badge on the right has two pins and resultant holes in the panel. Does the 'Mazda' badge that goes on the right have pins? (If not I'll fill the holes before painting.)
I know you can get the front bumper badge and the 'Mazda' badge for the rear from MX-5 Mania but it seems the 'MX-5' early badge isn't available from them. Does anyone know where you can buy one online? Thanks! :NA8: :D

can get the front bumper badge

Depending on what you mean by 'early NA', the ADM 1989-1992 NA6 didn't have a front emblem - emblem appeared on the 1993 ADM NA6 revision.

Thanks. I knew that but may or may not out that badge on. I like the Mazda sticker of the early one too. :)

It wasn't on all the early NA6s.

They certainly had a lot of variations on the NA!

To answer my own question left badge doesn't have pins, right one does. Bought from Mazda dealer.
