Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator

Postby dzammit85 » Sat Feb 03, 2018 5:41 pm

Hi, so I’ve just finishing running all new fuel lines new pump and installed a aem afpr, I jumped the fuel pump from the diagnosis box to run petrol through the system first and everything worked great, my only problem is the afpr, it doesn’t matter how tight or loose I make the screw at the top, the pressure gauge will just stay the same, it sits at around 37psi, does anyone know what the problem could be. And there is no vacuum hose connected to it if that makes a difference. Thanks

You should be careful not to break it, but have you made certain that it has been screwed in far enough to increase pressure?

And of course double check the fuel lines are going into and out of the right places.

it turns out that the screw is really easy to do by hand to a certain point, so it was sticking out a about 1cm, and I thought that’s all it went down, until you said that and then I realised the Allen key hole at the top, so I screwe it down more and fixed. thanks for help Dann
