Can't comment about the top 7 as I've never been to them, but you will beat the bottom two times easy..
My car has less power, less aero, more weight than yours and is quicker on both bottom tracks, the latter with only 1 prior visit.

I'd adjust the bottom two goals down by at least 4 to 5 secs each....

My goal is to put the smoke and oil back in the engine after a little incident at Challenge Bathurst. Might have to press the MX5 back into service to do the NSW supersprint series.

Second goal is to gain CAMS Event Command / Club Chief qualification so I can act as Clerk of Course.

I have only dríven recently on Wakefield, EC north, EC south and once on EC extended. Many years ago on Catalina, Oran and Amaroo parks.
Mostly Wakefield and in 2017 brought my time from 1:23 to 1:11.25
I am sure the car is capable of 1:07.9 so that's my goal for 2018 along with a mid field position in MX-5 Cup races commensurate with that sort of lap time.

1. Get a car on track - its been 15 years or so since I last had a track car going, although I did some karting in the meantime.
2. Learn Queensland tracks - I have just moved to SE Queensland from Victoria, so need to learn the tracks out this way.
3. Do some MX5 / Prod Sport racing - this one might be a bit of a stretch for this year, but you never know.

I've heard that but it looks like a lot more fun than QR!

Lakeside has got a wonderful flow to it and is certainly a lot of fun, but as said you need to treat it with much respect. QR is very different but has still got many technical challenges, plus you can very hard as it is much more forgiving. The two tracks complement each other well.

I started racing with Prod Sports last year and can thoroughly recommend it. Great bunch of people.
