This BBR kit has been around for a while now.
Very expensive here.

As greenmachine is alluding to, the cars are having gearbox failures on standard ones. Adding more power and torque is just asking for trouble.
How much stronger the October 2016 updated gearbox is questionable. The service bulletin doesn't really go into what the difference is between the original and updated gearbox.

Actually, I was alluding to the $6k PAR upgrade - new 1st to 5th gearset (see posts on the MT.net thread I linked on the other thread).

Install that, and see what breaks next, I am betting on the diff, but driveshafts maybe?

Maybe the Fiat Abarth 124 gearbox is a straight swap or not too much work to fit?

I believe Fiat are still using the Aisin 6-speed gearbox
