wheels sold to a local today for $100 so he got a good deal so there gone!

now onto another matter!

you may see this

Image

come up for sale and you get the car too  but not up here and we all know the reason why  I may have the opportunity to take a grab at a hit at a new mutation finch and if I have -fu'ch it - I will roll the dice and take the risk and this car will go

looks like they are sitting at $1500 a pair so I say the car will go out the garage for 12 pairs. all this will depend upon if one I can trust the guy to go through with the sale on the birds as -bird guys are extremely untrustworthy  and $$$ dríven  after all I wouldn't sell this car if I didn't think I could triple my money within a year  that's a fact! but a high risk one - not as high if you know what your doing  I do!

I know why......watch out for the tow truck lingering near your place!
Why don't you sell a finch for $30,000 with a free MX5 included.

well here's your reply
you know if I was serious about what was said - I really couldn't give a f/ck but you go and play with your NA  and dream more powa. ive had more good toys on a bad day than your ever had in your entire life! and fu.k ive had some toys
I once consided mx5's...as girlie cars  and i'd say by this forum it suits you perfectly
i'd actually prefer if you'd stay of my garage thread while I am still on the forum-keep the peace  once the car goes - I go!
but I will tell you one thing BRUCE! years back I sold diamonds. this prick similar to you wanted a discount! really annoyed me. I told him that day mate i'd rather throw this ring over the gap -than sell it to you - that's exactly how I would feel about you and my car!
I've disliked your attitude ever since ive been on the forum - nothing has changed. the only thing I buy whatever I want  and have for the past 30 years and it will NEVER change

besides if you weren't such a know all smart ass you'd say -I will shut up take a hit at this car at his price and get myself a very cheap car and improve on my NA which is the best I can afford and let BB lose his money

but I don't care as ive lost 100 of thousands of $$$ on cars and couldn't car less. while at it bruce toss in my 13 new motorbikes in the past 5 years plus the trips and all the other shit-unlike some-fu/ck I am action not words. I back up what I say!

your just friggin annoying on the forum. I would have panel beated, prime, top coated and pissed you off out of the forum years ago. anyway I don't give a stuff any-more if they block/ban or friggin do anything to my threads

I think I have put more good into it over the years than your mouthy crap anyway. I really have not seen anything good from your end at all. polish the door knob. polish the knob, polish the door knob, polish the knob

moderator BB being mean!

uping the sales work and working on the stripes

maybe  very hard to say or it could be the medication  I will withdraw those comments due to the heat of the moment  again

back to the photo

this car does actually look good now this side stripe is in position. now if looking at it for the first time the 235 could mean either top speed in the NT less 1000 revs off the limiter OR it could mean I bought 2 stripes for $35 ea

Image

ive been working on a song too from my NT trip with video I will run shortly. will be a swith from motorcycle songs anyway

I like the stripe too - adds just enough colour and contrast.

Apologies to Bruce for the rant and what lead up to it!

I’ve been on a pain killer prescription drug called Tramadol for 16 years and over the years it has worked well, in fact too well. What started off in the beginning was one 50mg cap a day soon stretched out to three and once hooked I eventually went to 4 and 5 per day. 3 a day via the doc script and the others I bought from any one I could via cash payment

Soon I was caught up in a dependency of a highly addictive painkiller which no matter what – I had to take exactly – one every 4 hours regardless. So if I got up at 8am -12 n -4p- 8- 12- day after day if I wanted it or not. The mind said take it and it ran like a clock for years!

This is a man made opioid based drug highly addictive and right now doctors worldwide realize millions are hooked on the drug and are trying to get them off it. The longer you are on and the more you take of the stuff -the harder it is to get off. plus coming off is just like other hard type drugs too…..the withdrawal symptoms.

Now it’s hard to believe if a prescription drug could rule your life but for example take my two NT trips. On both trips you would have witnessed MX5 GW885 pulled over by the side of the road on a lonely stretch of NT highway while I removed the driver’s side door cards to get at my Tramal supply because I regarded those pills the most important items for the trip – and that was the safest place in the car -and I could not function without them! As simple as that!

That’s just an example. Didn’t matter whatever I did I ALWAYS carried the stuff with me. If I went somewhere and I was down the road and had forget them – I’d go back and get them….they were that important!

What’s even harder to believe I’d say when you consider – I have never been drunk in my life- never taken illegal drugs – don’t gamble in any form – and in the end get hooked on a prescription drug

So about 3 months back I go in for a doctors for a review. Told me I’ve been on Tramadol for 16 years and it’s time I got off it. told me your taking 3 a day –far too many. In reality I am knocking over 4 to 5 – I’m in deep sh*t!

I will give you a script –no repeats and from now –you phone in weekly for the script. Back in 3 weeks for another review.

I’d have to say I was all over the place in emotion when I walked out. A virtually life supply of drugs cut off. I honestly wondered how I was going to handle it. So like all good things I got onto google and read about tramadol and it’s scary withdrawal symptoms and that was enough – Bruce experience that!

So I started off dropping by just one tablet a day. Honestly you would really have to experience the pain to know what it was like. Plus the constant leg movement in bed –hours on end. Felt like you were running a nightly marathon. Hot and cold sweat, the constant anxiety. The mood swings…….might be good one minute and then a real ass hole the next.

So after all this I am down to one tablet a day of this tramadol but that one might as well be five as it really is very hard to shake off. It could take months to finally get it out of the way or I might not ever get it out of the way. Time will tell

Prior to this I had no sympathy for drugo’s whatsoever, plus I never considered myself a drug addict either. I suppose now you would have to class them as legal and illegal….LOL BUT I can say for a fact when they say it’s not easy to get off the drugs – they are spot on. Although they grabbed theirs eagerly with open arms ……and I guess I did too via a prescription….LOL

You're right 1 a day isn't 0, BUT it's also not 5 a day. It's a fantastic achievement to have reduced by 1 a day from 5 to 1 in a short period. Consolidate & give yourself time.

Mr Bunter,

Absolutely tremendous work on reducing the medication. Well done. I’m sure most people have had some kind of experience with drugs of one kind or another. Either first or second hand with loved ones.
It’s very, very hard, and reading your story hits home, to me anyway.
Keep up the good work you have done great.

Richard.

Haven't read this thread for a few days and wow, some explosive posts here!

Thanks for sharing your prescription story, it put the "Bruce Blast" into some perspective; I sympathise with anyone who's trying to get off medication that they NEED from a health perspective for pain relief.

I do like the current look and will be interested to see what you and those around you who see it frequently think after a few weeks as they get used to it.
When I swapped my SE's 17" boat anchors for 15" rims it took quite a while to get used to the new look - now when I see 17" rims on an NB they just look like wagon wheels and wrong so familiarity definitely changes opinions.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!
