I remember reading about the temp guage mod a while back. Do you have a link or a guide to go off so I can add it to my to do list?

Some of it is not a pretty sight; there is much room for improvement in my technique. But of course that's the value in having the data.

It's all in my head – I wasn't aware that anyone else has done it.

Briefly: use the movement from an OE oil pressure gauge. Change the 62R resistor to approximately 220R (use a trimpot and adjusted it until you get the results you want).

I am driving the gauge from my MoTeC ECU so I can get the full range to read whatever I want. The technique will work well, however, with an OE gauge sensor. Just adjust the trimpot so that the gauge reads 80º in the centre (the sensor value is 65R) and you will get a fairly linear gauge movement between 60º and 100º.
