Agree with getting the tyre mob to loosen them,. Their rattle guns have 100000000000Nm torque when they do up the nuts when you change/rotate tyres so should have no issue cracking then axle nut...

Went to Mania today to buy some stuff and then finished fitting a 4.1 torsen.
Need to learn how to drive it bit by bit but I now see a track day in my future
Was expecting it to have slightly less acceleration but it seems to pull just as hard.
Good times and was a great experience fitting it. Except for that one nut! but that shouldn't happen again :D

Met up with Regie for a test run thru the park. Somehow my gear changes feel smoother and easier to change quicker.
A supercharged v8 commodore found that out before we entered the park :D

Some pics from today.

It does although the difference is not a great deal. 3,000rpm at 95km

would probably be cheaper to just get an NC & make it feel like an NA without the pop ups.

NC's are great cars.

Here's a pic of the diff.
Exhaust tuck or complete new system may be on the cards.Image

I've had a noise in my left rear brake at low speeds for a while now. Pulled the caliper, cleaned and regreased the sliders.
I'd replaced all discs, pads and fluids about 1,000 km ago and the noise arrived on the scene after I took the car off the road for a year.
Unfortunately regreasing didn't remove the noise. Driving slow and pulling the handbrake a couple of times did seem to fix it though. Seems weird but that's one less noise :)
