Did you try the SE lip being a light silver?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

DAY 33 - 3 plus hours
Nah!...never thought of it. if you mean the rear wing I had already painted most of it yesterday.
had a lot of problems with this rear wing and it has a broken/missing bolt anyway so its stuffed. had to eventually rub it right back to the bare plastic with the help of paint stripper
I would say most likely the worst job of the whole spray...nothing went right

on the car but I think I will require another one with all bolts intact. i'd say one broke off from the NT runs when I ran the boot bag on the rear end. its on but only held by two bolts and would have to run double side tape to keep it from moving about and rattling

DAY 34 - 10 minutes
decided to re-spray the console today then off on the motorbike for another ride and another snake incident. this time not far from the one the other day-within 100 metres but this time hit it
so I was off the bike seconds later checking the legs
not hard to check rather white legs either
again. I think I will pick a better road from now on
console after the wife over with grease and wax remover

after the spray. just waiting it out now for the new black leather boot and hand brake cover to arrive and it can go back in

DAY 35 - 2 hours
pulled the rear right wheel and cleaned up the under side with degreaser

then painted the underside black

while at it decided to spray the wheel - white to see how it looked

fitted all the plastic fasteners back on - then on with the wheel

then a knock at the door and a delivery-new wiper blades on tomorrow

You spray-painted your daughter too?

Re: billybunters - from a bmw z4 to a mx5 se
well I suppose I could have given her a spray over too BUT she did that blue herself
hard to believe 20 years ago she was without a doubt the worst kids face painter I had ever seen and now she gets $80 an hour for a job she once hated

DAY 36 - 1 hour
decided to re-dye the roof. that reminds me- have to attach those two straps at the rear

then decided to take it outside to have a better look

still not too sure about this colour

I have black side stripes arriving shortly so will see how that goes and maybe try black wheels or I may have to try another re- paint
