yes- I am actually getting sick of working on this project myself and will be glad when its over

i knew i couldn't get away with this job so I pulled the rear bar off and got to work giving it a light wet sand with 800 and let dry. wiped it over with grease and wax remover and by then the temp was up to about 18C and perfect for spraying .

gave both sides a bit extra paint too


sat it aside to dry and afterwards i had to do a few slight repairs to the side brackets which clip the molding to the body. worked out fine

gave it about 3 hours to dry and then slapped it back on the car

so I think it was worth my time to go back in and do it properly and it wouldn't have happened if I had done it right in the first place
