This sticker cannot be run at WTAC, but after :)

Changing the ride height a tad and adding a bit more rake. The from up 5mm and the rear up 8mm. This will make it a little more towards oversteer and this may not be smart as I'm already heating up the rears more than the front on exits. However the increased rake should help the front aero and the slight increase in the front height will not have the splitter on the ground under hard braking...

Also decided to do some 'patch up' up work. The GV rear wind deflectors have been on for almost 5 years and are starting to show signs of 'wear'. The paint underneath is still in very good condition.

Ready for paint, colour....

One of those "Yeah, that should have been bloody obvious!" moments? (we've all had them)

Looked awesome!

Decided to strip the shell, fit a roll cage, paint, re-wire and then transplant from the blue car! Then some door to door in 2018 :)

Wind deflectors in the process of being painted... Acrylic this time, test piece to see what it looks like and how it finishes. Bonus was I'm at work whilst the painting is being done at home.

If going to WTAC 2017 call into garage 2R and say hi

The V6 Amarok is such a pleasure to drive. Heaps of power to overtake! Comparing the 4 to the 6, in the 4 towing was normally done in S mode, however with the 6 using S mode makes it hunt too much for gears...

Economy wise...

Have an awesome time, would love to be there.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
