Haha. She's happy with 35hp. I drive it daily... mostly original (radio etc added)

Today I received another part of the process. After 11 cities, 3 weeks of transit and a few bruises it's finally here!!!

Weighs 7kg exactly. Extremely heavy for its small size. Very happy with the core although the end tank welding job is average for the quality expected. Not as nice as the koyorad I have. No made in China here though!

Quick dash outside confirms fitment is great. Whether I have cooling issues will remain to be seen. I'm building it around the a/c core, in the hope it'll work ok with it installed. If not, I guess I'll experiment with sprayers, or ditch it entirely. Custom flexible hoses will help gain extra clearance for cooler piping on both sides. ImageImageImage

Care package from fab9 came today.

This will stay off to the side until the car is together and I've got it started. Then the head will be clearanced, toda cams installed with springs and SUB from the head which I bought which was junk. Alongside a BE pump, gates kevlar belt, oil pan baffle and ati super damper this will round out the motor build to hopefully make it a reliable motor. The only thing left is the stock valves but as the head was reco'd with them I think unless there's an issue with a burnt valve it's probably not worth the investment to pull it totally apart. Nice!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Good to see all the hardware going into this build that will prevent it from reducing itself into smaller pieces again!
Always excited to see new updates on progress mate.

Hello!

We've begun saving at the start of the year to kick this project into 6th gear and get it back onto the road.

Goal is 10K to finish it off by my birthday in May, then driving on Christmas Day.
