Re: My British Racing Green '99 NB
Yes, there is a lot of that going on, and reviewing with somebody more experienced would certainly help. Only done three race meetings, so a lot of experience left to gain. On top of that, my priority in every race is always not to hit anybody else. I'm happy to risk binning my own car on sprint days etc, but not to take somebody else out because of my mistake. If that means a less than ideal line or track position, that's the option I will take at this stage. There are a lot of opportunities to defend against an overtake, and make moves under brakes in particular, that I don't take because I'm not certain it would be seen by the other car etc. In particular fighting with David in race 4, for example. Also there are multiple opportunities at T3/4 on the Clubman layout where I could move in toward the apex on the first of the two left handers to take a better line and defend against the car behind, but I don't because I'm not certain I won't be moving over onto their front right quarter.

My thoughts exactly!Trackphotos wrote: I'm happy to risk binning my own car on sprint days etc, but not to take somebody else out because of my mistake. If that means a less than ideal line or track position, that's the option I will take at this stage.

Got the boxster back. No suspension damage, just knocked the alignment out. Considering how hard it hit the ground, it's a pleasant surprise. Good to have it back. Looks as good as it ever did, too

Welp, that's done now. Car and trailer are sold to a fella down in Canberra. No more racing. I do have some new sport cup 2 tyres going on the boxster next week, and a sprint day at QR in a few weeks, but it'll just be stuff like that every now and then. Time to find a new hobby.

Sad but good, we won't have drivers showing up how slow the rest of us are! Good luck to you trackphotos!
